‘Cuts, Scars, and Healing Marks’ is a generative art series inspired by Lucio Fontana’s iconic cut artworks, reimagined through the lens of creative coding. Using p5.js and 2D rendering, I explore the profound beauty of ruptures—each mark representing both the fragility and resilience of the canvas. Between destruction and renewal, scars are left behind, and quiet healing follows. The project explores how minimal interventions can fundamentally alter perception, creating visual spaces that oscillate between presence and absence. The series investigates absence as an active component of perception, exploring how meaning emerges from interruption, incompleteness, and what cannot be directly accessed. 2025
