Anticancer garden is an interdisciplinary pilot project, which is adjacent to three existing projects. The first project is the work of prof. Zeljko Sobotka, founder of Natural Society Medicinal Plant. The second project is an online database of dr. Anusha Bhaskar, Cancer Plants Database. The third project is the Anti-Cancer Survival Kit, from deceased professor of new media Beatriz Costa and her collaborators, Anti-cancer Survival Kit.
Combining prior knowledge and discovery, with a kind of DIY spirit, we set out to create our own online database of the plants, and the creation of a real garden, where we grow and experiment with anti-carcinogenic plants.
Project is named ACGarden as part of Upgrade! Zagreb.Antikancerogeni vrt je interdisciplinarni pilot projekt, koji se u nekoliko crta naslanja na tri već postojeća projekta. Prvi projekt je rad prof. Željka Sobotke, osnivača Prirodoslovnog društva Ljekovita biljka. Drugi projekt je online databaza doktorice iz Indije, Anushe Bhaskar, Cancer Plants Database. Treći projekt je Anti-cancer Survival Kit preminule profesorice novih medija Beatriz Costa i njenih suradnika, Anti-cancer Survival Kit.

Kombinirajući prethodna znanja i otkrića, sa svojevrsnim DIY duhom, krećemo u izradu naše vlastite online databaze biljaka, te stvaranja pravog vrta, u kojem ćemo ekperimentirati i uzgajati anti-kancerogene biljke. Projekt vodimo pod imenom ACGarden u sklopu Upgrade!Zagreb projekta.
